Toulouse, September 05, 2005 - TechWord, a company
that specializes in software localization and technical
translations, was certified by SAP for its translations
from English and German into French.
SAP designed an auditing and certification program
that enables it to analyze its translation partners'
business structure, processes and performance and
identify those partners that could also offer SAP's
partners and customers a possible resource solution
for their translation requirements in the SAP environment.
The certification consists of different steps of
which one is an audit that is performed at the partner's
facilities and another a continuous performance
monitoring system. TechWord's audit was performed
at Labège in February 2005 by G. Meijering
of SLS (SAP Language Services). TechWord, its organization,
and its recruiting, training, project management,
and QA processes were carefully assessed and documented.
The audit enabled TechWord to illustrate the quality
of its organization as well as that of its internal
processes.

Laurent Legallais received the certificate on June
6 at SAP's headquarters in Walldorf, Germany, during
the SAP Translation Partner Forum 2005. The certification
is valid for two years.
